AFF: A Day of Fashion at West Lakes

As all resident Adelaidiens (yes, that is now a word) should know, it is currently Adelaide Fashion Festival - also known as the best part of the year! Well, apart from Christnas. Maybe. I can definitley say that I love every aspect - even the crazy hectic aspect that involves very little sleep and overdue uni assignments. Today Westfield Westlakes had its new opening after its redevelopments. As a part of the celebrations, shoppers were treated to a free fashion show which showcased new season looks from stores such as David Jones, Forever New, Bardot, Cue and many more. Not to mention Cibo were handing out free coffees - free fashion and free coffee? I'm pretty sure this is what heaven will look like.

Those are just some of the shots I took - for a more detailed article on the show, keep an eye on Fashion Global! Once the show finished, my assistant photographer/comedian/cousin and I went to The Sandwich Co. to get some lunch. I reccomend that everybody should eat there at least once in their lives - it was so cute and the food was delicious! I got a chicken, pumpkin, baby spinach and spanish onion roll and a freshly made juice that had so many delicious fruits in it I can't even remember all of them!

I wore a jumper from Bardot, pleather skirt by Saints & Secrets, shoes from Globalize and assorted jewellery from Lovisa and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Oh, and check out my new camera that I bought this week (as my old one conveniently broke. Right on fashion festival. Cool. No worries). It's my first SLR so I am so excited by how good quality the photos it takes are! Never mind the fact that I'm only about 10% sure on how to operate it and it was the cheapest one I could find. Shhhhh.

'Till next time,
Kate
