Wine And D̶i̶n̶e̶ Wine Me

You know what? I just don't understand why Adelaide gets a bad name from other Aussie cities. We're treated like we're the younger, slightly weird cousin when to be honest I think we're definitely one of the coolest cousins. No bias. Seriously.

Sure, we may be small, but I've lived here all my life and there's still plenty of places I am yet to discover. Up until the weekend, the Barossa Valley was one of the question marks in my home town. I've been there before visiting friends (Hi Carney) and had a great time wandering around pretending I knew what a cellar door was, but I'd never actually gone and soaked up the history and culture. By that I mean I had never stayed in a cute cottage or bounced around on a mini bus from winery to winery whilst listening to an Aussie commentary. I can now tick those bad boys off my bucket list. Anyone looking for a great wine tour to go on, go with Bums On Seats. Yes, the name had me thinking it was a little questionable at first but its honestly the best money I've spent. Do it.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a little photo-diary type thing of my long weekend Barossa adventures. Note: this does not accurately portray how much wine and cheese I consumed and how obese I am feeling right now.

I drank, liked and bought a bottle of red wine when normally red wine makes me screw up my face in a pug-like manner. Surely this means I am now a real adult, right?

'Till next time,
Kate x
