Hello, Winter

Apparently Adelaide is meant to have the most mild, predictable weather out of all the Australian states and territories. Can I ask who came up with this fact? Is it somebody credible or a complete lunatic? Or perhaps from fifty years ago before we realised our entire species is ruining the planet (lol whoopsies! Let's just do absolutley nothing about that. Good one Straya!) Anyone who actually lives here knows we can go through all four seasons in just one day. It is because of this that once again an Arctic front has hit before I am 100% prepared. By that I mean I have spent far too much time focusing on the least important parts of my winter wardrobe rather than the things that will actually keep me warm e.g. jumpers and coats. Luckily, buried amongst my ratty unusable jumper collection (what's up Year 12 hoodie circa 2012) I found this cropped turtleneck I bought pretty late last year, folded up in perfect condition. Thank God. Quick, whip on a hat to protect my hair as I also do not seem to own any umbrellas.

Voila, prepared for a freezing day. Well, apart from my hat blowing off multiple times and me having to leap onto train tracks Liam Neeson style to save it. It's hard being fabulous.

I'm wearing a jumper by Evil Twin, midi skirt and belt from Portmans, hat from Rubi Shoes (which means if I didn't save it from the train in time it would have only cost me $10 to replace), boots from Wittner and my uniform watch by Marc by Marc Jacobs.

'Till next time,
Kate x
